We will continue to build our explanation of how we know things. I'm modeling, modeling, modeling my thinking in class to help them know how to explain their thoughts. We will be journaling two or three times a week to explain. Our standards have us in measurement, time, double digit addition, and graphing.
However, we must memorize our addition and subtraction facts. I think May we'll have an incentive program that involves food to encourage them to use those flash cards. There is a fact program on www.mobymax.com if you are using that. Good ole flashcards are great too!
